Sergey Evgenievich Kushkov

Sergey Evgenievich has been leading the club since the first years of its work. In the club’s records for 2017, he is already named as the head of the “My Robot” circle: he conducts open classes where younger children themselves construct racing cars and immediately organize competitions on the built track.

His principle is to do everything with your own hands. Robots are assembled using domestic construction kits HUNO and Robotrack, using Arduino and from homemade parts; the guys develop their own electronic boards, write programs and defend their projects in front of the jury. The robot checker player, invented at the club, won the creative category “DETAILS”, and then the online competition of the Agency for Innovative Development.

In addition to robotics, Sergei Evgenievich is engaged in radio sports with the guys: sports radio direction finding, Morse code, and the radio game “Military Radio Operator”. The club's teams have been competing at the Istok Center for many years in a row and bringing back cups from there.

He is a coach of teams at major tournaments: in the official protocols of RoboFinist, RoboSkills and the Minsk robot tournament, his name appears on dozens of prizes from 2018 to 2026. At the international competitions IYRC-2020, three teams under his leadership received silver and two bronze.

Club graduates return as coaches. Egor Bakai came to My Robot as a schoolboy, became the winner of the JuniorSkills national championship, competed for the Moscow team at the All-Russian Robotics Olympiad and RoboCup, and now, together with Sergei Evgenievich, is preparing the Vertical team.
