Cookies and analytics
Updated 26 October 2026
Your choices
The website remains available if you decline extended analytics. It stays off until you explicitly allow it. Viewing or scrolling a page, submitting a form and closing settings do not constitute consent.
Minimal statistics
To understand which pages are useful, the website sends only its website identifier and the public page path to a self-hosted MetricNest installation. URL parameters, fragments, event names, form content and contact details are excluded. The database stores the website, public path, UTC hour and view count. There are no cookies, visitor identifiers, profiles or individual journeys.
The request passes through a network, whose intermediaries see the IP address necessary for delivery. Before forwarding it to the analytics application, the minimal counter proxy removes cookies, authentication, referrer and the forwarded IP address. These details are not stored in the minimal page view table. This describes the implementation; it does not claim that all cookieless analytics is automatically exempt from legal requirements.
You can switch minimal statistics off separately. Do Not Track, Global Privacy Control and a manual umami.disabled opt-out stop both kinds of analytics.
Extended analytics requires consent
When you allow it, MetricNest loads to measure public page views and pseudonymous sessions and understand navigation. It sends the path without parameters or fragments, the referring domain, language, screen size and browser information; the server derives an approximate region from the request. The full IP is not stored in analytics records but is processed in the request and pseudonymous session creation. Pseudonymous data is not considered fully anonymous.
We do not collect advertising profiles, screen recordings, form content, administration pages or message identifiers. Data from different websites is not joined into a personal profile. Minimal and extended page views may overlap and must not be added together.
Browser storage
Your analytics choice is kept in this website’s localStorage for up to 180 days: policy version, time, and permissions for minimal and extended statistics. You are asked again afterwards. Declining or withdrawing sets umami.disabled with a technical website marker to stop the tracker even after it has loaded. Clearing browser data resets the choice. Extended analytics remains off when storage is unavailable.
A technical PHP session supports forms, request forgery protection and administrator sign-in. It is not an advertising identifier. Language and theme choices are kept for one year in myrobot_lang and myrobot_theme cookies; you can change them in the header. They are not used for analytics. Fonts and core assets are hosted locally. External websites open through links you choose and follow their own policies.
Processing and retention
The operator and contact details are provided in the personal data policy. Analytics runs in a separate self-hosted MetricNest installation on CaseCore infrastructure; requests pass through casecore.io. This is not public sharing with advertising networks. Network and hosting providers participate in delivering and protecting requests.
The operator has not yet confirmed an approved analytics retention period or the database’s exact physical location. Automatic age-based deletion is not currently configured; records remain until deleted by the operator. Analytics database backups rotate after 14 days. Message retention is described separately in the policy.
Changing and withdrawing choices
The Privacy settings button is always available in the footer. Clear the permission and save, or select Withdraw extended analytics. New events stop immediately, including from a tracker already loaded. Withdrawal does not automatically delete previous records or affect the lawfulness of earlier processing. Contact the operator using the policy details to request information or deletion; minimal counters contain no individual visitor records.
Consent for processing a message is separate from analytics: form consent details. We update this page when purposes or data change; material changes to optional analytics require a new choice.
